AFMC NEET Cut Off 2025 Overview

To get into AFMC in 2025, a student must follow a few steps. First, the student must appear for the NEET UG 2025 exam. After the exam, the student must score well to be included in the AFMC shortlist. If the student's NEET score is more than the AFMC cut off, then the student’s name will be selected for the next round. This next round is called the AFMC screening process. It includes a test called ToELR, a psychological assessment, an interview, and a medical check-up. These steps help the AFMC team to decide who is the best fit for the medical college and the army life.

AFMC MBBS Seats

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) offers a total of 150 MBBS seats each year. Out of these, 115 seats are for boys and 30 seats are for girls. These 30 seats are especially reserved for female candidates who meet all the eligibility conditions. In addition to this, there are 5 sponsored seats for foreign students through the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

  • From the total 145 seats available for Indian boys and girls, 10 seats are reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, with 7 seats for SC and 3 seats for ST.

  • The reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC), which is 27%, is followed as per the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) rules.

AFMC NEET Cut off 2025 FAQs

What is the AFMC NEET Cut off 2025?

The AFMC NEET cut off 2025 is the minimum score that a student must get in the NEET UG exam to be called for the next round of selection at AFMC. Only those who get marks above the cut off will be invited for the screening process at AFMC Pune.

How many students get selected for AFMC?

In total, 1,880 students are called for the AFMC screening. Out of these, 1,490 are boys and 390 are girls. After all the tests are done, only 145 students get selected. These include 115 boys and 30 girls. This shows that the final selection is very tough and only the best students make it.

What happens if I score well in NEET but fail the AFMC medical test?

If you are not found medically fit during the final check-up, then you will not be selected, even if your NEET marks are very high. AFMC requires students to be in good health because they will later serve in the army. So passing the medical exam is very important.

What tests are done after NEET for AFMC?

After NEET, the selected students go to AFMC Pune for screening. Here, they take a test called ToELR, which checks their English, logic, and reasoning skills. Then, they appear for a psychological test to check their mental fitness. After that, they go through a personal interview where they are asked questions to check their confidence and thinking.
