NDA 2019 Eligibility criteria
Candidate’s eligibility for NDA 2019 will be depending upon various parameters. The NDA eligibility criteria 2019 will be slightly different for all defense services. The details about NDA 2019 Eligibility criteria are listed below:
 
Nationality
As per the nationality standards decided by UPSC for NDA 2019, the candidate must be an Indian Citizen or subject of Bhutan or Nepal or Tibetan refugee who came to India prior to January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply.
 
A PIO (Person of Indian Origin) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the purpose to get settled down permanently in India may also apply for the exam.
 
Age Limit
Candidates, who have born in between 2nd July 2000 to 1st July 2003, are eligible for apply for NDA (1) exam.
For NDA 2, applicants should have born in between 2nd January 2001 to 1st July 2004.
 
Gender & Marital criteria
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.
Applicants must assume not to marry until they finish their complete training.
 
Educational Qualification Criteria:
• For Army Wing: candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam organized by the State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force and Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at Indian Naval Academy: students should have cleared the 12th or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics subjects.
• Candidates who will be appearing for class XII examination in March 2019 can also take this examination
 
Physical Standards:
• Students should be medically fit as per the norms set by National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination. 
• Candidates have to go through the medical examination organized by the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB.
