How to Calculate SBI PO Mains Score Card 2025?

Candidates need to know the process of calculating their score in the SBI PO Mains exam 2025. In the objective test (200 marks), each correct answer is awarded 1 mark and loses 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Unanswered questions do not affect the score. The descriptive test carries 50 marks, there is no negative marking, and more marks are awarded based on content, structure, grammar, and relevance

• The SBI Clerk Mains exam consists of four sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness, and English Language. Each section has a specific number of questions and marks.

• Each correct answer is rewarded with 1 mark, and there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response. 

• For each section, multiply the number of correct answers by 1 and subtract 0.25 for each incorrect answer.

• After adding all the scores, divide the total number by three to get your average score.

(i) Objective Test: The objective test is three hours long and comprises of four sections of 170 questions for a total of 200 marks. Each section of the objective test will have a separate duration.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The 30-minute test will consist of two questions and be worth a total of 50 It will assess your proficiency in the English language (essay and letter writing).
