MMMUT Faculty Recruitment 2024 Screening Criteria Assistant Professor
The screening criteria for the position of Assistant Professor in universities, as per UGC Notification No. F.1-2/2017 (EC/PS) dated 18th July, 2018, are as follows: For Graduation:- Candidates scoring 80% and above receive 15 points.
- Candidates scoring between 60% to less than 80% receive 13 points.
- Candidates scoring between 55% to less than 60% receive 10 points.
- Candidates scoring between 50% to less than 55% receive 5 points (only applicable to Engineering disciplines).
- Candidates scoring between 45% to less than 55% receive 5 points (for all other disciplines).
- Candidates scoring 80% and above receive 25 points.
- Candidates scoring between 60% to less than 80% receive 23 points.
- Candidates scoring between 55% to less than 60% (50% for SC/ST/OBC non-creamy layer and PWD candidates) receive 20 points (for all other disciplines).
- Candidates scoring between 50% to less than 60% receive 20 points (only applicable to Engineering disciplines).
- Candidates scoring 60% and above receive 7 points.
- Candidates scoring between 55% to less than 60% receive 5 points.
- Candidates with JRF receive 7 points.
- Candidates with NET receive 5 points.
- Candidates with SLET/SET receive 3 points.
- Candidates receive 2 points for each completed year.
- If the period of teaching/post-doctoral experience is less than one year, the marks are reduced proportionately.
- International/National Level awards receive 3 points.
- State-Level awards receive 2 points.
MMMUT Faculty Recruitment 2024 Important Instructions
- Rules, regulations, norms, and directives, including amendments to the present regulations as stipulated by the AICTE/UGC/State Govt. or any other Competent Authority applicable to such recruitments, subject to minimum qualifications and/or experience.
- Applicants must fulfil the minimum qualifications and/or experience prescribed for the posts. The period spent by the candidates to acquire a Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience.
- The last date of submission of the online application form, i.e., February 28, 2024, shall serve as the cutoff date for determining eligibility. Candidates not possessing the prescribed qualifications and/or experience as of the last date of the online application shall not be considered in any case.
- Mere possession of the minimum qualifications and experiences prescribed above shall not entitle a candidate to be called for a written test/interview.
- Incomplete applications in any respect, applications not submitted through the prescribed link, or those received after the last date shall not be entertained.
- A separate application form along with the prescribed fee should be deposited for each post applied for.
- All regular posts carry dearness allowances and other allowances as per university rules and UP Government orders issued from time to time.
