JPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The Medical Council of India amends the Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations,1998 up to June 8th, 2017. According to the regulations: For the position of Assistant Professor, a candidate must possess a Post Graduate Qualification such as MD/MS/DNB in the relevant field. Additionally, they should have:- Three years of experience as a Junior Resident in a recognized/permitted Medical College in the concerned subject.
- One year of experience as a Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/permitted Medical College.
- Three years of teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor, or equivalent, along with the experience gained during DNB training.
- One year as a Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/Permitted Medical College.
