DHBVN is Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam. DHBVN is a Haryana government-owned power distribution utility company. The headquarters of DHBVN is located in Hisar, a city in Haryana. There are two operation zones which are in Hisar and Delhi. There is a chief engineer for all the zones. There are different operation circles in all the zones. These are in Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind, Gurugram, Palwal, Rewari and Narnaul. DHBVN is one of the two parts of the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam. HVPNL is one of the two parts of the Haryana State electricity boards. DHBVN takes care of the power distribution in the Southern part of Haryana. It looks after the power distribution in 12 districts of Haryana. These districts are Fatehabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Mewat, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Sirsa, Jind, Bhiwani, Palawal and Charkhi Dadri. DHBVN also has its official website. Educational Qualifications for Eligibility 

It is essential to have a bachelor's degree. Suppose you want to appear for the DHBVN exam. The state or the Central government must recognise your degree. You must score at least 60% of marks in your bachelor's degree if you are from the general category. There are different relaxations for people from other underprivileged types. It is also compulsory to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at least till you are 10th standard. For the post of assistant engineer, the upper age limit is 42 years. For the post of upper division clerk, the minimum age limit is 18, and the maximum age limit is 42. Candidates have to first go through a written test. All those candidates who can clear the written test must go through the interview round. All those candidates who can clear both exams are selected for the job.

Examination Pattern

The DHBVN exam consists of 170 questions. The professional knowledge section consists of 120 questions. The remaining 50 questions are from the aptitude section. Your professional technical team consists of six questions related to your disciplined knowledge. The aptitude section will include questions from quantitative aptitude, reasoning, data, sufficiency, verbal comprehension and numerical ability, et cetera. There is an application fee of Rs.1000 for general students of other states who want to apply for the post of assistant engineer. All female candidates from other states must pay Rs.500. Candidates from Haryana must pay Rs.250 as application fees. Female candidates from Haryana have to pay Rs125. For the post of upper division clerk, candidates from other states have to pay Rs.1 50 and female candidates have to pay Rs.75. All the candidates from Haryana have to pay Rs.35, and female candidates from Haryana have to pay Rs.18. The payment will be made online. It is very important to have a good level of preparation for the exam. The competition for the DHBVN exam has increased over the past few years.
