JEE Advanced 2024 Dress Code : JEE Advanced 2024 is going to be conducted on May 26. Candidates need to follow a dress code while appearing for the exam. There are some specific instructions for the candidates about JEE Advanced 2024 Dress Code. Candidates must follow the proper dress code otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

According to the instructions from the conducting authority, candidates must not wear the below items on JEE Advanced exam day.- Charm/taweez

- Clothes with big buttons
JEE Advanced 2024 Dress code: What to Wear
JEE Advanced exam is conducted for 6 hours. Candidates must wear simple and comfortable dresses. The clothes should be lightweight and breathable.- Wear open footwear like sandals and chappals.
- Wear shirts and pants with fewer pockets.
- Girls must not carry dupattas. Wear simple kurtis, plazos/jeans/leggings.
- Wear clothes with short sleeves.
JEE Advanced 2024 : Exam Day Instructions
Items to Carry in Exam Centre Candidates must carry the below items with them to the exam centre.- JEE Advanced 2024 admit card
- Original photo identity card (any one of the following: Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, Notarized Certificate with photograph)
- Pens
- Pencils
- Candidate may carry/wear a simple analog watch
- Drinking water in a transparent bottle
- Candidates must wear a mask and carry hand sanitizer (up to 50 ml in a transparent bottle)
Items Not to Carry in Exam Centre
Candidates must not carry the below items in the exam centre- Smart/digital/programmable watches
- Mobile phones
- Bluetooth devices
- Earphones
- Microphones
- Pagers
- Health bands or any other electronic gadgets
- Any printed/blank/handwritten paper
- Log tables
- Writing pads
- Scales
- Geometry/pencil-boxes
- Pouches
- Calculators
- Pen drives
- Electronic pens
- Wallets
- Handbags
- Goggles or similar items

Ans. There is no specific dress code for JEE Advanced 2024 exam. However, candidates should not wear any cap, metallic items, scarf/stoles or jewelry, and other ornaments in JEE Advanced exam 2024.

Ans. Candidates must not wear any jewelry piece on the exam day. They must avoid any metals such as rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, and clothes with big buttons.
