JEE Main registration 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially re-opened the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration portal, offering a final 48-hour window for engineering aspirants to submit their applications. Running from March 12 to March 13, 2026, this unexpected extension serves as a last-resort opportunity for candidates who missed the initial March 2 deadline due to board exams or technical constraints. Eligible students can now access the online portal to either complete fresh registrations or add Session 2 to their existing profiles before the link permanently deactivates at 9:00 PM on March 13. With the high-stakes April session just weeks away, this brief reopening is a critical moment for students to ensure their participation in India’s premier engineering entrance exam.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Registration (Re-Open)
The registration window is currently active and will remain open until 9:00 PM on March 13, 2026, with the fee payment facility available until 11:50 PM the same day. This re-opening applies to both fresh candidates who did not apply for Session 1 and existing candidates who now wish to add Session 2 to their profile. Since this is a high-speed, 48-hour window, the NTA has emphasized that no further extensions or correction facilities will be provided, making it imperative for students to double-check every detail before hitting the final submit button.
