JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must check the JEE Main 2025 exam guidelines for exam day. Read the article to know more.
Arrive at the exam center at least 2 hours early. For the morning shift, reach by 7 AM, and for the afternoon shift, by 1 PM. Gates will close 30 minutes before the exam starts.
Bring your Admit Card, a valid photo ID (like Aadhar, PAN card, or passport), and a recent passport-sized photo.
Be ready for document and biometric verification. Physical frisking will also be done for security purposes.
Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or any electronic devices to the exam hall.
Wear light, comfortable clothes. Avoid full-sleeve shirts, shoes, jewelry, belts, or heavy clothing. Only sandals or slippers are allowed.
You can carry a transparent water bottle and hand sanitizer. Food items are not allowed inside the hall.
Before starting the exam, read all instructions on the question paper thoroughly.
Use your time wisely. Do not spend too much time on one question. Attempt easier questions first.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines for PwD Candidates
The exam day guidelines for PwD candidates in JEE Main exam are slightly different from other general candidates. Therefore, candidates from PwD category must go through the instructions mentioned below.
Extra Time :
Candidates from the PwD category may be provided with extra time to complete the exam.
Scribe/Reader Assitance :
If a scribe is needed, ensure arrangements are made in advance according to NTA guidelines.
Use of Assistive Device :
Candidates from the PwD category are allowed to use certain assistive devices such as magnifying glasses, wheelchairs, or other aids as per the requirements.
Dress Code Related JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must take care of their attire on the exam day. However, there is no specific dress code assigned by the National Testing Agency. Candidates must take care of the following points while dressing up.
Candidates must not wear dresses with many pockets as it may create delays during checking at the examination centres.
Candidates must take care not to wear any expensive jewellery or watch on exam day.
Candidates must not bring any extra paper, books or any other things which can be counted as unfair means.
Also, candidates must avoid wearing shoes with thick sholes on the exam day. Try wearing open footwear like sandals or slippers.
Candidates, especially girls, must keep their hair tied up properly and must not use any hairpins, bands, or any other accessories.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Covid Guidelines
As COVID cases are again rising in our country, candidates must follow the Covid guidelines at the exam centres. Read some of the important instructions essential for exam day.
Candidates must strictly comply with the Covid guidelines and maintain hygiene and social distancing.
Candidates must report at the exam centre before time to avoid overcrowding and ensure social distancing at the centres.
Candidates must maintain exam-proper distance between each other and follow a hand distance.
Bring a 50 ml sanitizer for the exam centre.
Must wear an N-95 mask during the exam timing and at the exam centre.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines for Diabetic Candidates
Authorities have allowed the carrying of eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges) and transparent water bottles for diabetic candidates. However, they are not allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwiches into the examination hall.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Day Guidelines for Admit Card
Candidates must check their JEE Main 2025 admit card for all the details mentioned therein. If there is any discrepancy in the name, paper, date of birth, gender, test centre name, city, state code of eligibility and category, aspirants should immediately communicate to JEE Main conducting authority.
In case applicants are unable to download the admit card they need to contact JEE Main authorities at 0120-6895200 or mail at jeemain@nta.ac.in.
JEE Main admit card 2025 will be issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions.
Along with the JEE Main admit card, candidates will have to carry the following documents required at Jee Main Exam Centre 2025 keeping regard to the COVID-19 pandemic:
