Colleges Accepting JEE Advanced Score Eligibility Criteria

Not every student appearing or getting admission through JEE Advanced is eligible for IIT admission. The Eligibility criteria for the Colleges Accepting JEE Advanced Score are:

  • Qualification: The candidate must qualify JEE Main and should be in the top rank list of the JEE Main exam to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.

  • Attempts: The candidate is eligible to attempt JEE Advanced exam a maximum of two times, and these two attempts must be in consecutive years.

  • Marks in 12th: The candidate should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Minimum Marks for IIT Admission: The cut-off for IITs changes every year. A candidate must fulfil the subject-wise cut-off and the overall cut-off to be eligible for admission.

  • Branch-wise Cutoff: Even if a student qualifies for JEE Advanced, they can only get admission if they clear the IIT cut-off during JoSAA counselling for their chosen branch.
