JEE Advanced 2025 Exam Day Instructions
Applicants need to strictly adhere to these crucial exam day guidelines for JEE Advanced 2025:
Reporting Instructions:
Candidates are encouraged to arrive at the examination center early to complete all the formalities mentioned on the admit card. The examination centres will open at 7:00 AM.
Late joiners will be denied the chance to appear in the exam. The entry door to the exam center will close at the commencement of each paper: 09:00 AM IST for Paper 1 and 02:30 PM IST for Paper 2.
In the absence of present COVID-19 restrictions, any revision in policy will be announced through the JEE Advanced 2025 official website.
Exam Hall Entry Instructions :
Applicants must carry a printed copy of their downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card (like Aadhaar Card, School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, or Notarized Certificate with photograph) for examination hall entry. Only individuals having both documents will be permitted to write the exam.
Identification of candidates will be established by invigilators and IIT officials. If a candidate's identity is suspect, he can appear for the test provisionally, subject to the discretion of the IIT authorities, upon fulfillment of certain formalities. But no additional time will be allowed for such procedures.
Impersonation or adoption of unfair practices during the exam will lead to automatic disqualification from JEE Advanced 2025 and corresponding admission procedures. Legal proceedings may also be initiated.
Frisking will be conducted rigorously for all candidates before they enter the exam hall. Female candidates will receive specific instructions regarding the frisking process.
Inside the Exam Hall :
The following items alone are permitted inside the examination hall:
Pens, pencils, a transparent water bottle for drinking, a downloaded admit card, and an original photo identity card.
Watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, electronic gadgets, papers, writing materials, calculators, and bags are strictly prohibited.
Candidates must not wear metallic accessories or charms. It is advisable to wear open footwear like chappals or sandals.
Any items that may be used for unfair practice or to conceal communication devices will not be permitted.
The candidates should stay in the examination hall throughout the duration of each paper. Leaving the examination hall before the designated time is not permitted.
