NMAT Dress Code 2024

• Female candidates should wear tops, shirts, Kurtis, jeans, leggings, etc. However, they must avoid wearing clothes with multiple layers, large pockets, tube tops, sleepwear/pyjamas, and long-sleeved tops.
• Male candidates are recommended to wear shirts, t-shirts, jeans, pants, etc. However, candidates are discouraged from wearing sandos, long-sleeved shirts, or hoodies.
• Candidates requiring long-sleeved tops during the NMAT remote proctored test are advised to inform their proctor in advance.
• Candidates opting to take the NMAT from the test centre must wear simple footwear that doesn't have thick soles or metallic trims. Sandals, formal shoes, and slippers are allowed inside the NMAT exam centre.

NMAT 2024 Remote Proctored Exam Guidelines

• Test-takers should use only their personal computers/laptops for the exam. GMAC strictly prohibits candidates from using official computers or public systems like cybercafes.
• It is mandatory for candidates to download and install the 'Zoom' app in advance to save time before the test.
• In the event of technical issues, candidates must reach out to their proctor to get assistance in downloading the necessary software. If any other issue persists, the specific candidate will be provided with an alternative time slot to take the exam.
• Candidates are required to have original physical copies of their ID proof during the NMAT test. Soft copies and electronic IDs will not be accepted by the authorities.

Dos for NMAT 2024 Exam Day

• To estimate the travel time to reach the NMAT exam centre , candidates must visit the location one or two days prior to the exam.
• Upon successful registration for the exam, candidates must download the NMAT 2024 admit card from the official website. It is crucial to carefully review the details provided on the admit card, such as candidates' names, registration numbers, test times, and venue information, to ensure their accuracy. Additionally, candidates must carry a printout of their NMAT admit card to the exam centre for identification purposes.
• Besides carrying the admit card, candidates must also produce a valid photo ID proof to the security officials on the exam day. Candidates must also note that their photo identity proof has their official signature. While Voter ID and Aadhaar Card are common choices, candidates should consider carrying a PAN card along with them as these authorised photo IDs do not contain the candidate's signature.
• Before entering the exam hall, candidates should verify the room number, seating arrangement, and the assigned computer according to their NMAT roll number.
• Candidates should refrain from bringing any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, and bluetooth devices inside the NMAT exam hall.
• The NMAT 2024 admit card should be free of any markings.
• Candidates are required to keep their wallets, mobile phones, and other personal belongings securely in the designated lockers at the NMAT test centre.

Don'ts for NMAT Exam Day 2024

• Candidates must avoid signing their NMAT 2024 admit card before reaching the exam centre. Any mark on the admit card may lead to disqualification of the candidates.
• Candidates must avoid reaching the NMAT exam centre later than the specified exam time.
• Test takers must avoid asking questions or communicating their concerns to fellow candidates during the NMAT test inside the exam centre. If any doubts arise, candidates should raise their hand and seek clarification from the exam invigilator.
• It is important not to begin answering questions immediately once the computer is allotted; instead, wait for the invigilators to complete explaining the exam instructions.
• Candidates must not do any rough work on their NMAT admit card. All the calculations and written work should be done on the booklet provided by the invigilator.
• Once the NMAT exam commences, candidates should not request invigilators for any break, as there is no provision to leave the examination hall until the exam is completed.
• Candidates should avoid carrying the rough paper outside the exam centre.
• Parents, guardians, or friends of candidates are not permitted to enter the exam centre. Anyone accompanying candidates must avoid entering the exam hall in any circumstance.
