TET Exam

The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is a competitive exam held at the State and National Levels for candidates who want to make a career in the Teaching Profession. Every year, many schools advertise PRT, TGT, and PGT vacancies to recruit suitable candidates who have passed the TET Exam. It is a challenging exam that assesses candidates’ knowledge of Pedagogy, Child Development, and subject matter. Aim of the TET Exam

TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) is conducted annually to check the basic eligibility of the candidates to work as a teacher in India. The test is conducted to check the overall knowledge and problem-solving skills of the candidates. The candidates who qualify for the TET exam offer better educational standards in the country. Additionally, the TET Exam focuses on aligning with the standards set by the State and Central Government to fulfill the need for quality teachers in India.

CTET

The CTET Full Form is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a bi-annual eligibility test which is administered by CBSE to check a candidate’s overall eligibility aspiring to pursue a teaching career. The CTET exam is held for two levels, primary teacher (class 1 to 5) and upper primary teacher (class 6 to 8). Candidates who qualify for the CTET examination by securing the minimum qualifying marks become eligible for the CTET Certificate. The minimum eligibility criteria for the examination is qualifying for the class 12th examination. 

Bihar Teacher Exam

The Bihar Teacher Exam is conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission. The examination is conducted for Primary teachers, Secondary teachers and Senior Secondary teachers. The selection process comprises a written examination followed by a document verification round and interview. 

KVS

KVS stands for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and is conducted for recruitment to TGT and PGT. The examination is conducted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The examination is held in two stages i.e. written exam and interview after the completion of the recruitment. The KVS exam is held for both teaching and non-teaching posts. 

Super TET

The Super TET full form is the Super Teacher Eligibility Test. The examination is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh government and it is a state-level examination to fill the vacant teacher posts at primary (Class 1 to 5) and upper primary (Class 6 to 8) levels in government schools of Uttar Pradesh. 

UP TET

The UP TET (Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state level exam conducted annually for recruiting candidates in Primary (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) level teachers. The examination is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). UPTET exam is conducted in two shifts for two papers – Papers 1 and 2. 

MP TET

Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) is conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MP PEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of teacher. The candidates who qualify for the MP TET become eligible for primary, middle and high school teachers in the state. 

B.Ed Entrance Exam

B.Ed entrance exams are conducted once a year by state universities to offer admission to two-year courses by different states separately. B.Ed is an Undergraduate degree that is taken up by candidates who wish to work as a primary or upper primary teacher in government/private schools. The B.Ed course is regularised by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). The B.Ed entrance exam 2023 tests the candidate’s overall knowledge and ability to impart better education along with their Aptitude and Pedagogical skills. 

B.Ed Exam Full Form 

The B.Ed full form is Bachelor of Education. It is a full-time undergraduate degree that is pursued by candidates who wish to make a career in teaching. The B.Ed course is for candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream with atleast 50% marks from a recognised university. The course imparts proper training to the candidates making them eligible to practice as a primary, upper primary or senior secondary teacher. However, one has to appear and clear the B.Ed entrance exam conducted by the concerned authorities. Candidates who qualify for the B.Ed entrance test with a high rank become eligible for admission to the course.

Rajasthan PTET

The Rajasthan PTET (Pre-Teacher Education Test) is commonly known as the PTET exam. The examination is conducted for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BSc) (Bachelor of Education) programs offered by colleges in Rajasthan. The candidates who qualify for the PTET exam will be eligible for these courses. The examination is conducted annually once in a year and makes a candidate eligible for the B.Ed course. 

Bihar B.Ed

The Bihar B.Ed Entrance exam syllabus is released by Lalit Narayan Mithila University for all the subjects. The B.Ed Entrance exam 2023 syllabus is available separately for all five subjects. Candidates have to prepare for the B.Ed Entrance exam considering the topics mentioned for all the subjects, General Hindi, Logical and analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, General English Comprehension and Teaching-Learning Environment in School.

UP B.Ed

The UP B.Ed Entrance exam syllabus is prescribed for two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 has questions from subjects like General knowledge, English Language, Hindi Language and General Ability. Whereas, the UP B.Ed Entrance exam syllabus pdf for paper 2 can be checked to get an idea of the topics relevant for subject-specific topics.
