NVS Recruitment 2025 Vacancy 

A total of 5,841 vacancies have been released across various teaching and non-teaching positions. The detailed distribution helps candidates identify the posts relevant to their qualifications. PGT and TGT posts account for the largest share of the vacancies.

NVS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility standards vary by post and include age and educational requirements. The reference date for computing age and qualification is December 4, 2025. To be considered eligible, all candidates must meet the specified criteria.

• PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): Master's degree in the relevant discipline with 50% marks and a B.Ed. degree. The maximum age is forty years.

• TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): Bachelor's degree with 50% grades in the relevant subjects. A B.Ed. degree and qualifying CTET Paper-II are also required. The maximum age is 35.

• Principal: Master's degree, B.Ed. degree, and suitable administrative experience (aged 35 to 50).

NVS Syllabus 2025

The syllabus generally covers General Awareness, Reasoning, Knowledge of ICT, Teaching Aptitude, and a major section on the Domain Subject Knowledge. For TGT and PGT, the domain subject is based on the graduation/post-graduation level. A separate Language Competency Test is also included, which is qualifying in nature.

NVS Exam Pattern 2025

The written examination for TGT and PGT posts is conducted for 150 questions carrying 150 marks in total. The total time allotted is 3 hours.

• Mode of Exam: Computer Based Test .

• Negative Marking: Yes, 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

• Sections: The paper is typically divided into six parts, with a common section and a subject-specific section.

• Language Test: Part VI that is language competency test is qualifying; candidates must score at least 40% in this section.

NVS Teacher Salary

NVS teachers receive an attractive salary package based on the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations. The salary is inclusive of various allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Travel Allowance.
