UPSC CMS Eligibility 2025 Educational Qualification 

The basic education qualification requirement to appear for the UPSC CMS exam is MBBS. The qualification requirement ensures that only those with a strong foundation in medical studies are eligible to apply. Here is UPSC CMS Eligibility 2025 on education:

• Educational Background: Candidates must have completed an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution. This can include universities, colleges, or other accredited institutions that meet the standards set by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Final Year Students: Candidates who are currently in their final year of MBBS can also apply. However, they must have completed their degree along with the rotational internship before the final date of the interview.
• Foreign Medical Graduates: Must clear the FMGE exam by the time of the document verification process and meet other criteria (if any) set by MCI.

Note: A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection he/she will be appointed only after he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship.

• Candidates who are Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
• A subject of Bhutan and Nepal or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, are also eligible.
• Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from countries like Kenya, Uganda, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam are eligible but need to meet specific conditions outlined in the UPSC guidelines.
