What is the full form of IEEE? IEEE is an abbreviation for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. It is the largest technical professional association dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of mankind. It is designed to build industry standards, catering to professionals involved in all aspects of the electrical, electronic, and computer fields. It also arranges conferences and provides a platform for publications. The IEEE has about 1,000 employees who support its activities. The Board of Directors is made up of the CEO and senior executives. Manages IEEE staff operations. Since January 2017, Karen Bartleson has been the President and CEO of IEEE.

The IEEE was founded in 1884 by a small group of professors of electrical engineering in New York and called the American Institute of Electrical Engineers or popularly known as the IAEA.
IAEA was created to support scientists, engineers, and professional scientists in their growing field.
In October 1884, the IAEA began its journey and had its first technical meeting in Philadelphia, USA, attended by many leaders, along with Western Union President Norvin Green.
The Institute of Radio Engineers (IRE) appeared in 1932, which was basically devoted to radio and then largely to electronics.
The current IEEE was founded on January 1, 1963, by merging IAEA and IRE and had about 150,000 members during this.
1.The data transfer system is faster than the transfer rate.
2.Multidirectional propagation increases the transfer rate and reduces the error rate.
3.Manually repair the modulation used by the transmission.
4.Development of standards for the computer and electronics industry.
5.It is a non-profit professional association and works for the benefit of humanity.
Technologies under the IEEE are continuously spreading around the world and reaching more and more areas of people’s lives. According to records, at the beginning of the 21st century, the IEEE would serve its members and interests with 38 societies; 130 journals, transactions, and more than 300 conferences a year; and 900 active standards.
Working at the IEEE is a rewarding experience for professionals from a variety of disciplines. As part of a global team, employees have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues whose talent and commitment to integrity make us one of the organization’s most valuable assets. The IEEE offers competitive benefits to employees for permanent, part-time, and temporary employees.
