

The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati has released the complete timetable for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026, in computer-based mode at centres nationwide. GATE 2026 will run across four days, with two shifts daily:
Forenoon: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Afternoon: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Admit cards will be issued online. Candidates must download and review them carefully, ensuring that the name, paper code, date, shift and centre location are correct.
Candidates should reach the centre at least an hour before the exam and must carry both the admit card and a valid government ID. Entry will not be allowed without proper identification.
The exam will be conducted entirely in computer-based format.
Only the on-screen virtual calculator can be used.
Personal calculators, mobile phones, watches and electronic items are not permitted.
All exam-day rules and security checks must be followed.
Any breach of guidelines may lead to disqualification.
