GATE RA Engineering Mathematics Syllabus 2027

Section A.1 of the GATE RA Syllabus 2027 covers core mathematics topics that build the base for solving technical problems. Important topics include:

GATE RA Principles of Robotics and Automation Syllabus 2027

Section A.3 is the core Robotics and Automation section under the GATE RA Syllabus 2027. It covers:

  • Robotic classification: serial and parallel manipulators, geometrical configuration, links and joints

  • Coordinate systems and degrees-of-freedom, rotation matrices in 2D and 3D, homogeneous transformations, forward kinematics

  • Robot applications: point-to-point and continuous path control, types of end-effectors, robot accuracy and repeatability

  • Computer Integrated Manufacturing: automation in manufacturing, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), automated material handling and storage systems, automated identification and detection systems, computer numerical control

GATE RA Electrical Engineering Syllabus 2027 (Part B1)

  • Analog Circuits and Embedded Systems: Analog filters, amplifiers, operational amplifiers, oscillators, A/D and D/A converters, SMPS, microprocessors, and microcontrollers

  • Signals and Systems: Continuous and discrete time signals, Fourier series, Shannon's sampling theorem, Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform, and Z transform

  • Control Systems: Mathematical modeling, transfer functions, block diagrams, signal flow graphs, stability analysis using Routh-Hurwitz and Nyquist criteria, Bode plots, root loci, and PID controllers

GATE RA Mechanical Engineering Syllabus 2027 (Part B2)

Candidates who choose Part B2 should focus on these mechanical topics under the GATE RA Syllabus 2027:

  • Mechanics of Materials: stress and strain, Mohr's circle, bending and shear stresses, torsion, Euler's theory of columns, thermal stresses

  • Kinematics and Dynamics: displacement, velocity and acceleration analysis, gears and gear trains, balancing of masses, gyroscope, vibrations, critical speeds of shafts

  • Machine Design and CIM: design for static and dynamic loading, failure theories, fatigue strength, joints, bearings, brakes, clutches, springs, CAD/CAM basics, additive manufacturing
