Passing marks in GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025 on February 1, 2, 15 & 16 via online mode for 30 different branches. Aspirants must check the passing marks for GATE 2025 to know the minimum score needed to clear the exam.
To pass the GATE exam, students must achieve a score that is equal to or higher than the GATE Cut Off for their specific papers. The cutoff marks vary depending on the discipline and category.

The GATE Result 2025 has been declared on March 19 at the official site, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Also, the institute will release the GATE Scorecard on March 28.
It is essential to note that GATE passing marks do not guarantee admission to postgraduate programs. Admission is subject to seat availability, minimum marks released by the institute, and other criteria set by the participating institutes.
The passing marks for GATE 2025 will be released shortly by the IIT Roorkee. Aspirants who achieve the minimum passing marks determined by the authorities will only qualify for the GATE 2025 examination.
Furthermore, the GATE 2025 passing marks are decided after considering factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of aspirants who appeared for the exam, the category of test takers, and previous year’s GATE passing marks trends. The GATE passing marks, also known as the qualifying cutoff, represent the minimum score necessary for a candidate to qualify for the exam. Step 1: Visit the official website at www.gate2025.iitr.ac.in or the GOAPS portal.
Step 2: Students will be required to enter their enrollment ID and password in order to log in.
Step 3: Once logged in, look for the “GATE 2025 Result” link and expand it to view the passing marks for GATE 2025.
