PGCIL through GATE 2025 Selection Process
The selection procedure for PGCIL Recruitment through GATE 2025 consists of shortlisting based on marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
In order to qualify for a personal interview, Unreserved / EWS candidates need to obtain 40% marks, and OBC (NCL) / SC/ ST/ PwBD applicants need to secure at least 30% marks.

PGCIL through GATE 2025 Salary
Applicants selected for the post of Engineer Trainee will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 40,000/- -3%- 1,40,000(IDA) during the one-year training period. They shall be paid Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA, and Perks @12% of basic pay during the training period. The approximate CTC per annum shall be as follows:

On successful completion of the training period, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer in E2 scale - Rs. 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA). On regularization, they will be eligible to earn additional perks and allowances including Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance as per cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation / Company Quarters or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, digital services reimbursement, uniform, laptop facility, PF, Gratuity, Pension & Leave encashment, Group Insurance, Group Personal Accident Insurance, etc.
