IAT Result 2025: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) has officially announced the IAT Result 2025 on 24th June 2025. Candidates can now access their IAT Scorecard 2025 by logging into their registered account using their application number and password. Prior to the result, the provisional  IAT Answer Key was released on 26th May 2025.

The IAT Scorecard 2025 will be created using the answers shown in the final answer key. The exam authorities will include the All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank in the IAT 2025 result PDF.

IAT 2025 examination was conducted on May 25, 2025. The IISER IAT Result 2025 has been officially announced on 24th June 2025. Only the most qualified candidates from the IAT 2025 exam will be eligible to participate in the IISER 2025 counselling process.
The first round of IISER 2025 counselling is set to begin on 21st July 2025 from 5 PM and will close on 26th July 2025 at 5 PM. During this period, candidates must submit their Class 12 marksheets and caste certificates for verification.

Step 1: The applicant must first visit the official website of 'IISER Admissions'.

Step 2: The Candidate should click on 'IISER Entrance Exam Results SCB'.

Step 3: Clicking on the results will take the applicant to a new page on the website.

Step 4: Enter your login information, such as 'Email ID' and 'Password'.

Step 5: The candidate's IAT scorecard 2025 will be reviewed.

Details Included in IAT Result 2025

After the results are revealed, candidates may log in to the official IISER website and get their scorecards. The IISER Entrance Exam scorecard includes important information for applicants. Candidates should properly verify the following information to prevent any discrepancies later on:

• Name of the candidate

• Roll Number for the candidate

• Application number from the admit card, Marks obtained by the applicant

• Percentage obtained and rank secured.

Factors Affecting IAT Result 2025

Several factors affect the 2025 IAT (IISER Aptitude Test) results. These include the number of candidates, the difficulty of the test, seat availability, category-specific reservations, and the candidate's performance. These factors are given below:

Individual Score: This is the most important part. Your total score, which includes marks from all three parts (A, B, and C) of the examination, directly determines your rank.

Number of applicants: If there are more candidates in a given year, the competition for seats increases. Even if you have an excellent score, you may get a lower rank than in a previous year when there were fewer applications.

Difficulty of the Exam: The general difficulty of the IISER examination may influence scores vs rank. A harder examination may result in lower total scores, therefore increasing your rank even with a low score compared to an easier exam year. 

Seat availability: Seat availability in the M.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. programs you're interested in is also an important consideration. Fewer seats in a highly regarded exam will result in stronger competition and maybe lower rankings for similar scores than programs with more seats.

Category Reservation: IAT Exam follows to reservation regulations for different categories. This implies that different cutoffs and rankings may be decided for groups such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and so on.

IISER 2025 Merit List has been released shortly after the declaration of the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) Result 2025, which was officially announced on 24th June 2025. The IAT 2025 examination was conducted on 25th May 2025.
