JEE Advanced 2026 Difficulty Level: IIT Rookee has scheduled the JEE Advanced 2026 exam on May 17, 2026. The exam has been organised in two shifts for the Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams. JEE Advanced 2026 Difficulty Level was updated to the students once the exam shift was over. Students can get the review for the subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students found papers 1 and 2 to be moderate to difficult. The paper 2 section included the maximum number of tricky questions, and time was the major issue in solving the questions. Paper 2 level was difficult as compared to paper 1, based on the students' responses covered after the exam.

JEE Advanced 2026 Overall Paper Level for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was provided after the exam ended. The overall paper level was shared based on student feedback and expert review. The difficulty level of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics was discussed in detail. Students' responses shared and found that paper 2 was more difficult than paper 1.   • Overall Difficulty: Difficult due to the conceptual and lengthy questions. 

  • Paper 1 Focus: Ranked as the difficult section of the morning shift due to punishing, time-consuming calculations in Coordinate Geometry and Calculus.

  • Paper 2 Focus: Remained highly conceptual but was rated as moderate to difficult. Core Chapters Covered: Dominated heavily by Vectors, 3D Geometry, Definite Integration, Matrices, and Conic Sections.

JEE Advanced 2026 Tougest Shift 

  • The Most Difficult Part: The afternoon test (Paper 2) was the most difficult part of the whole exam day.

  • Why was it more difficult? The afternoon test had more questions to solve. It also had a trickier system where students lost points for wrong answers.

  • Feeling Tired: After writing a long test in the morning, students were very tired in the afternoon. This made it even more difficult for them to read and understand the tricky questions.
