JEE Advanced 2025 Category Wise Last 5 Year Cutoff : IIT Kanpur successfully conducted the JEE Advanced 2025 exam on May 18, 2025. As the exam is now over, candidates are eagerly waiting for the release of the official cutoff marks and result. These will be published soon on the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates should keep checking the official website for the most recent updates.

To get a rough idea of this year’s cutoff, candidates can look into previous year trends. For example, in JEE Advanced 2024, conducted by IIT Madras, the minimum qualifying marks were:

  • General Category – 109 marks (30.34%)

  • OBC-NCL and GEN-EWS – 98 marks (27.30%)

  • SC, ST, PwD, and Preparatory Course Candidates – 54 marks (15.17%)

  • 27 seats (7.58%) were reserved under the preparatory course.

These cutoffs included both subject-wise and overall score requirements. The actual qualifying marks for 2025 will be influenced by how challenging the exam was and how well candidates performed.
Until the official cutoff is released, it is recommended that students analyze the trends of the last five years to better understand the expected range and plan their next steps accordingly.
