  • Candidates must choose at least 10 preferred exam cities while filling the application form.

  • These preferences are considered during allotment, but the final exam centre is allocated by the organising IIT and printed on your admit card.

  • City preference form helps define where you wish to sit for the exam, but it does not guarantee that centre will be allotted.

Unlike some other exams, once your final city is allotted and the admit card is issued, you cannot change the JEE Advanced 2026 exam centre.
So make sure your form preferences are correct before final submission.

  • Exam centre name

  • Exact centre address

  • Reporting time

  • Exam shift details

  • Centre code

Candidates should download and print the admit card well before the exam as entry is not allowed without it.

Reporting Time for JEE Advanced 2026

  • The exact reporting time will be printed on your admit card.

  • Typically, reporting time is scheduled 1 hour before the exam start time to allow for security and document checks.

  • Reaching late may lead to denial of entry even if you have all documents.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, etc. are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
