• Those who have completed a two-year pre-university examination, the Senior Secondary School Examination by NIOS, with at least five subjects or equivalent exams from foreign countries recognized by AIU, are also eligible. Additionally, aspirants with a recognized three-year diploma or GCE A-levels can apply.

• However, SC/ST aspirants and those from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North Eastern states need only 50% marks to meet the eligibility criteria.

• As per the revised JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 , the paper will include 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical value questions (NVQs). Applicants are required to attempt 75 questions (25 from each subject), and the marking scheme for MCQs is +4 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect answers.
• For NVQs, only correct answers will earn +4 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect or unattempted NVQs. The total marks for the exam will be 300.

• Unlike JEE Main, VITEEE does not have negative marking, which gives aspirants more flexibility when attempting questions. The exam will be conducted in English, and the total marks are not specified but will be based on the number of questions answered correctly.
