You will not be allowed entry without physical copies of these documents.3 Digital copies on phones (DigiLocker or photos) are strictly not accepted.
JEE Main 2026 Admit Card: A clear printout on A4-size paper. Ensure all details, including your photograph, are visible.
Self-Declaration (Undertaking): This is part of your admit card. You must fill it out, paste your passport-size photo, and put your left-hand thumb impression before reaching the center. Do not sign it yet; the signature must be done in front of the invigilator.
Valid Photo ID (Original): Must be a government-issued ID like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
Passport Size Photographs: Carry at least two additional photos (the same as the one uploaded in your application) to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
Non-Aadhaar Verification: If you did not register with Aadhaar, you must carry the "Photo Verification Certificate" (verified by a Gazetted Officer/Principal) and report at least 1 hour early for biometric verification.

Candidates appearing for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 (Winter) should wear simple, comfortable attire:

Footwear: Open-toe slippers, sandals, or floaters with thin soles are allowed.

Strict restrictions are enforced to avoid malpractice:
Shoes: Closed shoes or footwear with thick soles are strictly banned.

Accessories: Watches (digital/analog), belts, caps, goggles, rings, earrings, bracelets, and jewelry are not allowed.
Electronic Items: Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, and any gadgets are prohibited.

Following the JEE Main dress code for female 2026 and male candidates will help avoid last-minute stress and entry delays at the exam centre. Always check your admit card instructions and reach the centre well before reporting time.
Rough Work: You will be provided with a pen and blank paper for rough work.
Do not bring your own stationery (except Paper 2 candidates).You must write your name and roll number at the top of the sheet and drop it in the designated box before leaving.
Admit Card Submission: You must drop your duly filled admit card in the drop-box while exiting. Failure to do so may lead to non-evaluation of your results.
Biometric Attendance: Attendance is recorded via biometric scanning and a photograph. If you take a bio-break (toilet), you will undergo frisking and biometric verification again.
Diabetic Candidates: Permitted to carry sugar tablets, fruits (apple/banana/orange), and a transparent water bottle. Packed foods like chocolate or sandwiches are not allowed.
Visit Early: If possible, locate your exam center in advance to avoid any last-minute navigation issues.
Transparent Only: If you carry a water bottle or hand sanitizer (50ml), it must be completely transparent with no labels.
Stay Calm: Reach the center at least 60–90 minutes early to handle security queues calmly.
