JEE Main 2024 Percentile Calculation : NTA uses a special formula to calculate the JEE Main 2024 percentile scores for Chemistry, Maths, and Physics. The highest scorers in each section will be awarded a percentile of 100. To prevent ties between candidates, the qualifying percentile for JEE Main 2024 is computed to seven decimal places. Ans. With 50 marks in the JEE Main 2024 exam, applicants would get a percentile of 80 to 85.
Q2: Can I get IIIT at 60 percentile?
Ans. Students who score in the 60-70 percentile range in JEE Main 2024 are unlikely to get admission to the best NITs and IIITs, which need a minimum percentile score of 85-90.
Q.3: How many marks is 67 percentile?
Ans. If you get 67 percentile in the JEE Main 2024, your marks will be around 35 and 40, based on recent years' trends. And your rank at this percentile would be between 3,00,000 and 3,50,000.
Q.4: Is 93 percentile enough for NIT?
Ans. In JEE Main, your general category rank should be about 70k, with a percentile of 93. Your admission to NIT will be based on your category rank.
Q.5: Can I get any NIT with 87 percentile?
Ans.: It is difficult to get a place in NIT with an 87 percentile, particularly in popular branches like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. To get into an NIT, candidates must score higher than the 95 percentile.
