NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Admission 2024
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to get admission at NIT Jalandhar in B.Tech courses.- Interested candidates must pass the class 12 board examination with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks.
- Candidates must pass class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects.
How to Apply for NIT Jalandhar B.Tech Admission?
NIT Jalandhar offers admission to its B.Tech courses based JEE Main exam and followed by JoSAA counselling . Candidates can check the steps to apply for JoSAA below- After qualifying JEE Main, open the official website of JoSAA and register.
- Fill in your choices of a college. The applicant will be provided a period of 10 days to lock their choices.
- JoSAA conducts a Mock seat allotment process to provide a basic idea of colleges to the student. So applicants may change their choices on the basis of mock seat allotment.
- JoSAA allows the seat after choice locking and applicants may accept, reappear in the next round or reject the allotted seat as per their requirement.
- After acceptance of seats, the applicant should download a provisional seat allotment letter and pay the Seat Acceptance fee which is around 35000 INR (15000 INR for reserved category).
- Lastly, report to reporting centers for document verification.
- The applicant has to visit the allotted institute for confirmation finally.
