- Class 12 Qualification : Applicants must have appeared for their Class 12 (or equivalent) exams for the first time in 2024 or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- IIT Admission Restrictions : Students who were previously admitted to any IIT, regardless of whether they continued or withdrew, are not eligible to appear. This also applies to those whose admission was cancelled after joining an IIT.
