Which IIM will start IPM in 2024?: In 2011, the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) became the first institute to introduce the Integrated Program in Management (IPM). This program is special because it lets students who have just finished 12th grade join a 5-year integrated program at IIMs.
As of now, two IIMs, namely IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, have already begun the Integrated Program in Management (IPM). IIM Indore initiated IPM in 2011, while IIM Rohtak started its IPM in 2019. Currently, there is no confirmation from any IIM about starting IPM in 2024, except for IIM Rohtak, which is expected to complete its first batch in 2024.Note: There are discussions and rumors about the possibility of IIM Bangalore offering undergraduate programs, including IPM, in the future. However, there is no official confirmation from IIM Bangalore regarding the commencement of IPM in 2024.
Which IIM will start IPM in 2024?
In 2019, IIM Rohtak followed the example set by IIM Indore and introduced the IPM program at their institute. IIM Rohtak's adoption of the IPM program gave it credibility and recognition. IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Bodhgaya, and IIM Jammu also started offering this program in 2021.- The program has proven to be successful for both students and companies. Is IIM Bangalore Going To Start The IPM?
There have been rumors circulating among students about IIM Bangalore planning to introduce an Integrated Program in Management (IPM) next year. However, in a recent interview, IIM Bangalore's director, Professor Abhoy K Ojha, mentioned the institute's consideration of new undergraduate and postgraduate programs on its newly constructed campus.- While there was no specific mention of IPM in the interview, the institute officially announced on its Twitter handle the commencement of a new 4-year undergraduate program in liberal arts starting in 2023.
- This program is unrelated to IPM and does not include a post-graduation degree. Based on current reports, it seems unlikely that IIM Bangalore will initiate an IPM program in the near future.

Additionally, the liberal arts program, which has already been announced, is scheduled to commence in 2023, suggesting that an IPM program from IIM Bangalore may not be expected before then.

List of Non IIMs Starting IPM
Since the New Education Policy (NEP) started, many schools, not just IIMs, are interested in the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The National Law University, Hyderabad (Nalsar), is the first important school outside IIMs to begin an IPM program. After NALSAR, some more schools that are not IIMs joined with IIMs to offer the IPM program in 2023. These include NIRMA in Ahmedabad, IIFT in Kakinada, NFSU in Delhi and Gandhinagar, TAPMI in Manipal, Krea University's IFMR in Chennai, Alliance University in Bangalore, NICMAR University in Pune, and Masters Union in Gurugram. Why Have Other IIMs Not Started IPM Yet?
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have specific reasons for not starting the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) yet. The older and well-established IIMs find it challenging due to higher demand and infrastructure limitations. All the existing campuses are already operating at full capacity. Introducing a new program is feasible only when a satellite campus is established, as seen with IIM Bangalore. Additionally, undergraduate and postgraduate students have different requirements. Undergraduates are more physically active, needing improved sports facilities. However, this is difficult for older IIMs due to the aforementioned limitations.
