CAIIB Exam Pattern 2025 for All Papers
The CAIIB Exam 2025 will include four mandatory papers and one elective paper. The compulsory papers are Advanced Bank Management (ABM), Bank Financial Management (BFM), Advanced Business and Financial Management (ABFM), and Banking Regulations and Business Laws (BRBL). As for the elective paper, candidates can choose from subjects like Rural Banking, Human Resources Management, Risk Management, Central Banking, and Information Technology and Digital Banking to specialize in. Each of these papers is further divided into different modules, and candidates must cover each module to qualify for the CAIIB Exam in 2025. During the registration process, candidates need to select their preferred language for the exam, which can be either Hindi or English. The CAIIB Exam 2025 will be conducted online, with each paper consisting of 100 questions, each carrying 100 marks. CAIIB Exam Pattern 2025 Marking Scheme
- This section would be brief as I will explain the information regarding the marking scheme of the exam in a concise manner.
- Each paper constitutes 100 questions for a total of 100 marks which implies each question carries 1 mark for every correct answer given.
- Although the number of questions asked in each subject could vary, as per the official information on the website, there is no negative marking for attempting incorrect answers.
CAIIB Exam Pattern 2025 Passing Criteria
When you're preparing for banking exams like JAIIB, DBF, SOB, or CAIIB, there are some important rules to keep in mind. It is known that there are a total of 5 paper as per the CAIIB Exam Pattern, out of which 4 are compulsory and 1 is optional. All papers are of 100 marks each multiple choice. Although the exam does not give negative marks for attempting wrong answers, IIBF has given some guidelines on the criteria to pass CAIIB which I would like to discuss. The minimum marks required to pass each paper of the CAIIB exam is 50 out of 100 marks. If the candidate gets at least 45 marks in one attempt in each subject with 50% marks in all the subjects of the exam, he/she is considered to have passed the CAIIB exam. If the candidate cannot complete all the papers in one attempt, he must be allowed to retain the credits he has attempted until the end of the exam deadline.- 5 Attempts in 3 Years: You have a maximum of 5 chances to clear each exam. However, these attempts must be completed within three years, starting from the date of your first registration.
- Non-Consecutive Attempts: The good news is that these 5 attempts don't have to be in a row. You can take breaks in between if needed.
- Re-enrollment After 5 Attempts or 3 Years: If you can't pass the exam within 3 years or after 5 attempts (whichever comes first), you'll need to start fresh. Any subjects you have passed earlier won't count, and you'll have to enroll again.
- Counting Attempts: Your attempts are counted when you apply for the exam, whether you take the exam or not.
- Choose Any 5 Exams: Within those 3 years, you can apply for any five exams out of the six available.
- Fresh Enrollment: If you use up all 5 attempts before 3 years or if 3 years pass without using all 5 attempts, you need to enroll again.
