Preparation for the AP Civil Judge exam 2026 should cover both the Screening Test and Written Examination from the beginning.
Read the prescribed Bare Acts carefully. Focus on important sections, explanations, definitions, exceptions and illustrations.
Keep separate notes for Civil Laws and Criminal Laws. This makes revision easier and helps you track which subjects have been completed.
The 2026 syllabus includes BNS, BNSS and BSA along with the older IPC, CrPC and Indian Evidence Act. Candidates should understand the provisions listed in the official syllabus instead of preparing only from older judicial exam material.
For the Screening Test, practise objective questions after completing each subject. Revise sections and important legal principles regularly.
The Written Examination requires descriptive answers. Practise writing answers within a fixed time and use relevant sections and case laws where required.
Paper III includes translation between English and Telugu. Practise both directions regularly so that you can complete the 40-mark translation section within the allotted time.
Prepare legal essay topics and practise writing them within the examination time. Focus on clear language, logical presentation and relevant legal provisions.
Solve previous AP Civil Judge question papers to understand the type of questions asked and improve your speed. After each paper, review the questions you could not answer and revise those topics.
Divide your preparation into three parts: learning new topics, practising questions and revising completed subjects. Regular revision is important because the syllabus covers a large number of laws.
The Andhra Pradesh Civil Judge Syllabus 2026 covers a wide range of Civil and Criminal Laws along with translation and legal essay writing. Candidates should prepare for the Screening Test and Written Examination together, with regular Bare Act reading, MCQ practice, answer writing and revision. The official High Court notification should be followed for the latest syllabus, exam instructions and any subsequent changes.
