The selection process begins with administrative scrutiny of the applications. Candidates who strictly fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions may be shortlisted for an interview. However, meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not automatically guarantee an interview or empanelment.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview through email, SMS or telephone. They will also be required to produce original educational and professional certificates, registration documents and proof of professional experience during the interview and document verification.

The empanelment will remain valid for three years from the date of notification of the result, subject to performance-based extension. Any extension beyond three years will be at the discretion of the Member Secretary, DSLSA, with the approval of the Executive Chairman, DSLSA.
A waiting list may also be prepared. The waiting list will remain valid for three years from the date of result notification, but placement on the waiting list does not create an automatic right to empanelment.
