Candidates must satisfy the ESIC Maharashtra Advocates Eligibility 2026 includes the educational qualifications and court practice experience calculated as of July 1, 2026:
Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university in India.
Bar Registration: Mandatory registration/enrollment as an advocate with the Bar Council of India or State Bar Council.
Minimum Court Practice Experience:
High Court & CAT: Minimum 10 years of court practice experience.
Employees' Insurance (E.I.) Court: Minimum 5 years of practice experience in courts/tribunals.
Metropolitan Magistrate (M.M.) Court: Minimum 5 years of practice experience in courts/tribunals.
Other Courts / Tribunals: Minimum 10 years of practice experience.
Infrastructure: The advocate should have an established office/chamber with adequate infrastructure at the location where empanelment is sought.
ESIC Maharashtra Advocates Selection Process 2026 involves structured evaluation steps:
Shortlisting of Applications: ESIC scrutinises incoming applications based on qualifications, practice experience, profile strength, and document completeness.
Selection Committee Interaction: Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interaction/interview before a Selection Committee consisting of the Regional Director and legal experts.
Final Panel List: The final list of empanelled advocates will be published on the official ESIC Maharashtra website, followed by individual empanelment letters.
Empanelled advocates do not receive a regular monthly ESIC Maharashtra Advocates Salary 2026 or retainer fee. The payments are disbursed on a case-to-case fee structure as prescribed by ESIC guidelines (vide Office Memorandum dated March 25, 2026).
