Educational Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognised Indian university and must be enrolled as an Advocate.

SC/ST/Category I: Up to 40 years
Ex-servicemen: 3-year relaxation
B. In-service Candidates
Must hold a law degree and be currently employed in the Karnataka judiciary or as a Public Prosecutor/Government Pleader.
Age Limit: 40 years for General, 43 years for SC/ST.
C. Benchmark Disabilities
4% reservation in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, subject to medical certification for judicial duties.
