AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines 

AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines help candidates understand what to do on the day of the examination. These instructions are mentioned on the admit card and must be followed strictly.

1. Reporting Time

  • Candidates must report to the test centre at least one hour before the exam, which means reaching by 1 PM.

  • Early reporting allows enough time for verification, document checking, and seating arrangements.

2. Documents Required

Candidates must carry the following:

  • AILET 2026 Admit Card

  • Valid Photo ID Proof (original + photocopy)

    • Aadhaar Card

    • PAN Card

    • Driving License

    • Passport

    • Ration Card

  • Two recent passport-size photographs

3. Stationery Items to Carry

  • Two Black or Blue Ball Point Pens

  • One HB Pencil

  • Transparent water bottle

  • Face mask and small sanitizer bottle

Pens must be ballpoint only, and ink should be blue or black for filling the OMR sheet.

4. Items NOT Allowed Inside the Exam Hall

Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items:

  • Mobile phones

  • Smartwatches, digital watches

  • Bluetooth devices, earphones, pagers

  • Calculators

  • Study material, books, written notes

  • Bags, wallets

  • Jewellery or metal accessories

Carrying these items may lead to disqualification.

5. Behaviour and Conduct

  • Candidates must follow all instructions given by the invigilators.

  • No candidate must indulge in unfair means or disruptive behaviour.

  • Any involvement in malpractice may lead to cancellation of candidature.

AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines for OMR Sheet

Handling the OMR sheet correctly is important. NLU Delhi has issued specific guidelines regarding marking and submission.

1. When to open the envelope

  • Candidates must not open the sealed envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Sheet before 2 PM.

2. How to mark answers

  • Use only Blue or Black Ball Point Pen for shading.

  • Shade the answer circle completely, without gaps.

  • Do not mark multiple responses. More than one shaded option will be counted as wrong.

3. Entering personal details

Candidates must correctly fill:

  • Roll number

  • Booklet number

  • Signature

  • Other required details

Incomplete or incorrect details may lead to rejection.

4. Handling the OMR Sheet

Candidates must:

  • Not fold, tear, or wrinkle the OMR sheet.

  • Not staple or clip it.

  • Return the original OMR sheet to the invigilator.

  • Take the carbon copy after the exam.

5. Marking scheme reminder

  • +1 for every correct answer

  • -0.25 for every incorrect answer
