Candidates must deposit Rs 50,000 between February 4 and February 10, 2026. It confirms the provisional seat for the academic year. The remaining university fees must be paid by April 30, 2026. Failure to pay the balance fee by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of the provisional admission. Vacant seats will then be offered in the fourth merit list or during a spot round.
NLU Delhi has a clear policy for withdrawals and fee refunds. Candidates should understand these terms to avoid forfeiture of their counselling fees.
Full refund for non-allotment: Candidates who registered and paid the counselling fee (Rs 30,000 for general; Rs 20,000 for SC/ST/OBC/EWS). They did not receive a seat offer will get a full refund. NLU Delhi holds a portion of the counselling fees until the process closes. Refunds will be initiated after June 30, 2026.
Forfeiture of fees: Failing to pay the balance admission fee by April 30, 2026 (for the first three rounds) or May 20, 2026 (for the fourth round) will cancel the provisional admission. The counselling registration fee will also be forfeited.
