The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is the exclusive gateway for admission into premier undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral law programs at NLU Delhi, which does not accept Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores.

AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria: UG & PG Programs

Before filling out the form, ensure you fulfill the minimum academic qualifications set by NLU Delhi:

1. B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) – 5-Year Integrated Degree

• Qualification: Passed or appearing in Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized central or state board.

• Minimum Aggregate Marks:
  
  

• General / OBC / EWS / Kashmiri Migrants: 45% aggregate marks.

• SC / ST / PwD: 40% aggregate marks.

• Ineligibility Note: Candidates placed under the compartment/supplementary category in Class 12 during the admission cycle are not eligible.

2. LL.M. – 1-Year Master of Laws

• Qualification: Passed or appearing in the final year of LL.B. (3-year or 5-year integrated) from a Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized university.

• Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO: Exempted from the written entrance exam for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. seats allocated under their category, provided they hold a minimum 65% aggregate in qualifying exams.

The UG examination consists of 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) to be answered in 120 minutes.

Exam Structure (B.A. LL.B. Hons.)

• Section A – English Language: 50 Questions (50 Marks)

• Section B – Current Affairs & General Knowledge: 30 Questions (30 Marks)

• Section C – Logical Reasoning: 70 Questions (70 Marks)

• Total: 150 Marks | 150 Questions

• Marking Scheme: +1 for correct answers, -0.25 for every incorrect response.
