Candidates aiming for admission into the five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), one-year LL.M., or Ph.D. programs for the 2027–28 academic session must submit their forms through this centralized window.

Unlike the other 24 National Law Universities across India that accept Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores, NLU Delhi conducts its own independent entrance exam. Registering for CLAT will not qualify you for NLU Delhi—you must complete your submission separately via the official portal.

Educational Qualification

B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)

• Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST).

• Candidates appearing for the 12th standard annual examination in 2027 are eligible to apply.

B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.)

• Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent with at least 45% marks (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST).

LL.M.

• LL.B. or equivalent law degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities).

• Candidates appearing for the final year LL.B. annual examination in 2027 are eligible to apply.

LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and Management

• LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities).

• Eligibility for M.A. in Intellectual Property Law and Management: Two bachelor’s degrees in succession, one in the relevant discipline, OR Integrated degree program of five years in the relevant discipline after plus two, OR Equivalent postgraduate degree in any discipline, OR Four-year bachelor’s program with Honours/Research from a recognized university. Minimum Marks: 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).

Ph.D. in Law

• LL.M. or equivalent law degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBCs non-creamy layer/Differently Abled/Economically Weaker Section).

Ph.D. in Social Sciences

• Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in relevant Social Sciences or Humanities with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBCs non-creamy layer/Differently Abled/Economically Weaker Section).
