AILET 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specific eligibility requirements set by NLU Delhi to avoid disqualification. The criteria vary slightly based on the program you are applying for.

For B.A. LL.B. (Hons.):

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

  • Minimum Marks: General/OBC/EWS/Kashmiri Migrants: Minimum 45% aggregate marks.

    • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 40% aggregate marks.

  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in AILET 2027.

  • Appearing Candidates: Students appearing for their Class 12 exams in March/April 2027 are eligible to apply, provided they meet the results criteria at the time of admission.

For LL.M. (Postgraduate):

  • Educational Qualification: An LL.B. or an equivalent law degree from a recognized university.

  • Minimum Marks: 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD categories).

  • Appearing Candidates: Final-year LL.B. students are eligible to apply.
