AILET Result 2026 Tie-Breaking Rule

For candidates obtaining the same marks in the AILET 2026 entrance exam, the following tie-breaking policy will be implemented to prepare the AILET merit list. This will give them distinct ranks in the merit list. 

• If two candidates have the same total marks, the one who scores higher in the logical reasoning section will be given a better rank.
•  If there's still a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher. 
• And if the tie continues even after that, the final decision will be made through a random computerised draw.

Qualifying Marks for AILET 2026

In AILET 2026, there are no minimum qualifying marks set for candidates. Anyone who obtains a valid score in the exam is eligible to take part in the counselling process and compete for seat allocation. However, the number of candidates called for counselling will be limited to three times the total number of available seats. 

AILET Counselling 2026

NLU Delhi will create an invited list of candidates who are eligible to register for the counselling process. The list will include approximately three times the number of available seats in each category. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email and SMS. Candidates can also check their invite status by logging into their AILET account. Those who receive the invitation need to register for AILET counselling within the given deadline to move forward in the admission process.
