NLU placements typically occur in April-May each year. Employers visit law college campuses to shortlist candidates based on their academic performance and legal skills. The NLU placements process is managed by the "Recruitment Office" or "Recruitment Committee" at each NLU.Key Criteria for Candidates
To enhance their chances of securing placements, candidates must perform well in their semester exams. The recruitment process includes two main types of placements: Zero-Day NLU Placements- Timing : Conducted in the 4th year of the LLB program.
- Significance : This is the most critical placement opportunity as major companies and employers are actively seeking candidates. It is often referred to as a pre-placement offer (PPO) since students have not yet graduated
- Eligibility : Students who were not placed during the zero-day internship or who choose not to participate for any reason can take part in the placements organized in the previous year.
