Both 3-year and 5-year LLB courses have different eligibility criteria and candidates are required to meet them before filling out the application form. TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for 3-year and 5-year LLB courses are given below. 

TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for 3-year LLB Course

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates belonging to the General category candidates need at least 45% aggregate marks, OBC category candidates require a minimum of 42% marks, and SC/ST category candidates must secure at least 40% marks in aggregate of all subjects. 
• Final Year Candidates: Candidates appearing for their final year examinations are also eligible to apply, provided they complete their degree before the counselling process.
• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for the 3-year LLB course.
  

  TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for 5-year LLB Course

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates from General category must have secured a minimum of 45% marks, OBC category candidates require 42% marks, and SC/ST category candidates need 40% marks in aggregate of all subjects. 
• Appearing Status: Candidates appearing for their final year of the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply, provided they qualify before the counselling process.
• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status as per Telangana State Government norms. 
• Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for the 5-year LLB course.

Some important points which candidates must be vigilant about related to TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 are as follows. 

• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination for the respective course (10+2 for 5-year LLB and Bachelor's Degree for 3-year LLB) from a recognized board or university.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the general category candidates is 45%, 42% for OBC category candidates and 40% for the SC/ST category candidates.
• There is no age limit to appear for the TS LAWCET exam.
• To be eligible for ranking and the counselling process, candidates must score above the minimum qualifying marks which are 35% (42 out of 120 marks). There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC & ST candidates.
• Candidates who obtained degrees through open universities or via private/correspondence without completing a three-year course are not eligible. 

TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The TSCHE also prescribes the TS PGLCET eligibility criteria 2025 for admission to postgraduate law courses at various participating colleges. Here’s an overview of the TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for LLM courses. 

• Candidates should possess an LLB/BL degree of 3 or 5 years from a recognized institution. Candidates appearing for the final year examination are also eligible to apply.
• There is no age limit for appearing in TS PGLCET 2025.
• Candidates seeking LLM (Private Appearance) at Osmania University require at least 3 years of experience as a judicial officer or advocate.
• Candidates must satisfy local/unreserved status criteria as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.
