ULET 2026: Dates, Eligibility, Application Form, Syllabus & Seats

The University Law Entrance Test, commonly known as ULET, is a university-level entrance exam. The University of Rajasthan (UniRaj) conducts this test every year. It is the gateway for students seeking admission to the 3-year LLB course. Candidates who want to join the University Law College or the University Law College Centre-II must qualify for this exam. ULET 2026 will evaluate students on their general intelligence and legal aptitude.

What is ULET 2026?

ULET 2026 is the official entrance examination for the three-year law programme at Rajasthan University. The exam is held in offline mode using pen and paper. Admission to the affiliated law colleges is based strictly on the merit score achieved in this test. It is a highly competitive exam as it offers a limited number of seats for law aspirants in the state.

ULET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility standards to apply for the law entrance test:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.

• Minimum Marks (Rajasthan Candidates): General category students need at least 45% marks in graduation.

• Minimum Marks (Other States): Candidates from outside Rajasthan must have at least 60% marks in their qualifying degree.

• Appearing Candidates: Students in their final year of graduation can also apply provisionally.

• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in the ULET 2026 exam.

ULET 2026 Application Form

The application form will be available online only on the official UniRaj website. The registration fee is approximately INR 1200 for General/OBC candidates and INR 1000 for SC/ST candidates. To apply, students must register, fill in their personal and academic details, and upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature. After the payment is successful, it is important to take a printout of the submitted form.

ULET 2025 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern helps students understand the structure of the question paper.

• Mode: The test is conducted offline in various centres in Jaipur.

• Duration: Candidates get 90 minutes to solve the paper.

• Question Type: All 150 questions are objective-type (MCQs).

• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

ULET 2026 Syllabus

The syllabus is designed to test a candidate's general awareness and language skills. The major subjects included are:

• General English: Grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.

• General Knowledge: Current affairs, history, and geography.

• General Science: Basic scientific concepts and theories.

• Social Science: Sociology, economics, and political science.

• Indian Constitution: Preamble, fundamental rights, and the judicial system.

ULET Admit Card 2026

The University will release the admit card a few days before the exam date. It is a mandatory document that contains the candidate's name, roll number, and exam centre address. No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID.

ULET Result 2026

The results are usually declared within two weeks after the exam. Students can check their scores by logging into the official portal with their roll number. A merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained. If two students get the same marks, the university follows tie-breaking rules, such as giving preference to the older candidate or the one with higher marks in the qualifying degree.

ULET Counselling 2026

Successful candidates are invited for the counselling process based on their rank. During counselling, the university verifies the original documents of the students. Candidates must bring their mark sheets, category certificates, and ULET scorecards. Seats are allotted to the candidates based on their merit rank and seat availability.
