Steps to Participate in CAT Mock Test 2023
CAT 2023 mock test is conducted in online mode. To appear for the CAT mock test, candidates must visit the official website. Here are the steps candidates must take to participate in the CAT mock test: Step 1 - Visit the official CAT website at iimcat.ac.in and click on the IIMCAT mock test link. Step 2 - Provide the required CAT login credentials (candidates' registration number and password). Step 3 - Next, click on the sign-in option. Step 4 - After successfully signing in, press the F11 button and carefully read all the general instructions provided for taking the CAT mock test. Step 5 - Now click on the "Next" button to proceed to the next page. Step 6 - Review the "Other Crucial Details for Candidate." Step 7 - Click on the disclaimer checkbox after reviewing all the details. Step 8 - Click on the "Ready to begin" button to commence the CAT mock test. IIM Lucknow has separately released the CAT official mock test link for PwD candidates. The steps to participate in mock tests for all candidates are similar. However, the sectional duration of the CAT mock test for PwD candidates is 53 minutes and 20 seconds. Responding to Questions in CAT 2023 Mock Test
While attempting the CAT mock test, candidates must follow the guidelines provided below to record their answers:- Navigate directly to a question by clicking on the CAT mock test question number in the Question Palette. For MCQs, candidates should choose their answers by clicking on the bubble preceding the choices, presented in the form of radio buttons. For Non-MCQs, candidates are provided with a space to write their answers using the on-screen keyboard.
- After completing a question, candidates should click on the "Save & Next" tab to save their responses and proceed to the next question.
- In case candidates are not sure about the answer to a question, they can mark it for review before moving forward to the next question.
- Candidates must note that their response to a question can't be saved if they directly navigate to another question without using the "Save & Next" button or "Mark for Review" button."
How to Modifying Response in CAT 2023 Mock Test
In case candidates want to cancel their selected answer, they must take the steps provided below:- Select the question number on the palette and press the "Clear Response" button.
- To change the chosen answer, candidates must click on a different option. Further, they save the updated answer by clicking on either the 'Save & Next' or 'Mark for Review & Next' button.
