CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: CMAT 2025 exam will be held on January 25, 2025. MBA aspirants can apply on the official NTA-CMAT website. The last date to register is December 13, 2024, and the fee payment window closes on December 14, 2024.

  • This year, the registration fee is INR 2,500 for General male candidates and INR 1,250 for Reserved categories, female, and transgender candidates.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: Reservations Policy

For admission to colleges that accept CMAT scores, candidates should check the reservation policy of each specific institute. Private institutions have their own reservation policies. The following reservations apply to colleges and institutes that are under the control of the Central Government of India.

Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) are determined according to the Central list of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) website (ncbc.nic.in). Candidates who are on this list should select OBC in the Category column. However, candidates who are on a state list but not on the OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose the General category.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria 2025: PwD Reservation

Candidates applying for CMAT under the PwD category should keep the following points in mind: According to Section 2(t) of the RPwD Act, "Persons with Disability (PwD)" are those with long-term mental, intellectual, physical, or sensory impairments that prevent them from fully and effectively participating in society on equal terms with others. As per Section 2® of the RPwD Act 2016, "Persons with Benchmark Disabilities" are individuals with at least 40% of a specified disability. This includes those with disabilities defined in measurable terms, as certified by the appropriate authority.

PwD candidates who are visually impaired, dyslexic, have upper limb disabilities, or have lost fingers/hands and have difficulty using the Computer Based Test platform can use the services of a scribe for the exam.
  • If you need a scribe, you must request this service during the CMAT registration process. No arrangements for a scribe can be made after registration is completed.
  • The NTA will provide the scribe, and candidates cannot bring their own.
