  EMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing for the exam must know the eligibility criteria as decided by the conducting authority. Here is the eligibility criteria detailed information provided - 

• Educational Qualification :The candidates should have bachelor degree or other equivalent degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

  Those candidates who lack the bachelor degree but possess prescribed professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, or CS and have a minimum of 50 percent marks are also eligible. 

Foreign degrees are also accepted though the candidate must present an equivalency  certificate by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or any other agency that is recognized by the Government of India. 

• Work Experience :At least 3 years of management, entrepreneurial or professional experience is required after graduation (at the start date of the program).

The pre-graduate experience or experience in the form of internship/apprenticeship will not be counted. 

• Age Limit : No age is above which one can apply to EMAT 2026.

They can apply to the candidates of any age who meet the academic and experience requirements.

• Additional Requirements : They will have to submit the form with valid experience certificates and relevant documents to demonstrate work history when completing the form.

Foreign degree holders also have to generate documents of marks and AIU equivalence certification during admission.

EMAT 2026 Admission Process

The EMAT 2026 admission procedure is as follows: 

• Candidates must fill out the application form online on the IIM Kozhikode website (iimk.ac.in) within the given registration period (July 19 to November 14, 2025).

• The application form includes personal details, academic history, work experience, and other information, including test center preferences, and more.

• The next step is fee payment and fees can be paid online using a credit/debit card or through net banking.

• Exam and Shortlisting: Candidates are required to take the EMAT exam. Applicants who are shortlisted based on their exam score and profile will be called in for a personal interview.

• Final Selection: The selection is based on EMAT score, performance in the interview, and overall profile evaluation. 

EMAT 2026 Registration

EMAT 2026 registration is conducted in four phases through the official website of IIM Kozhikode. Candidates need to complete the online form with precise details and pay the application fee digitally. 

Registration dates vary across phases, though early application ensures better exam planning. Make sure to submit authentic documents to avoid future rejections, as the authorities maintain strict verification standards.​

EMAT 2026 Fees

 EMAT 2026 application fees is ₹2,000, payable only through online methods like net banking, credit, or debit card.

 Ensure accuracy while filling out your application, as incorrect details may lead to cancellation at any stage. The fee is non-refundable and covers registration for any of the available phases within the admission window.​

EMAT 2026 Admit card

 EMAT 2026 admit card will be released by IIM Kozhikode in phases. Applicants who manage to register and make payments on the exam will be issued with the admit card through their registered email address

 The admit card also includes some valuable information such as the venue of the exam, the date and the schedule of the interview, which the candidates are supposed to bring to the venue of the exam to be admitted. It will be synchronized upon registration and the admit card can be downloaded.

Applicants are to download, print and save their admit card in a good condition since they are required to come to take the exam and interview. Lack of complete or missing admit cards can result in blocked entry.

EMAT 2026 Cut Off

EMAT 2026 cut off marks typically refer to the minimum score required for qualifying to the next selection round, such as interviews. Although the exact cut-off for EMAT 2026 will be announced after the results, previous years indicate that the cut-off depends on factors like exam difficulty, number of candidates, and overall seat availability.

EMAT 2026 Dates

 EMAT 2026 exam is conducted multiple times a year, typically split into four phases. For Phase 1, the exam was held on July 26 and 27. 

The EMAT 2026 exam dates for each admission phase are disclosed by IIM Kozhikode, typically on their Kochi EPGP portal. It’s advisable to keep an eye on official updates to avoid missing deadlines.​
