KMAT Kerala 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet specific conditions to apply for the KMAT Kerala exam.

  • Educational Qualification: A bachelor's degree (3 years minimum) from a recognized university.

  • Minimum Marks: General candidates need 50%. SC/ST candidates need 45%.

  • Final Year Students: Students in their final year of graduation can also apply. They must submit their degree before admission.

  • Age Limit: There is no specific age limit.

  • Nationality: Both Indian and foreign students can apply.

KMAT 2026 Application Fee

The KMAT 2026 exam application fee depends on the candidate’s category. General and socially and educationally backward category candidates are required to pay a fee of 1,000 rupees. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste category need to pay 500 rupees. Scheduled Tribe candidates are exempted from paying any application fee.

The application fee must be paid online during the registration process.

KMAT 2026 Kerala Syllabus 

The KMAT Kerala syllabus 2026 is designed to test a candidate’s basic skills required for management studies. The KMAT Kerala exam is conducted in online mode and consists of four main sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge with Current Affairs.

As per the KMAT Kerala exam pattern, the paper contains a total of 180 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries four marks. Candidates must prepare all sections carefully to score well in the KMAT Kerala exam 2026.

English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension

This section tests a candidate’s command over the English language. It focuses on grammar rules, correct usage of words, vocabulary, and sentence structure. Candidates should also practice reading comprehension passages and questions based on fill in the blanks using suitable words or phrases.

Quantitative Aptitude

The Quantitative Aptitude section checks numerical ability and problem-solving skills. Candidates should mainly focus on arithmetic topics. Along with arithmetic, questions are also asked from algebra, geometry, equations, functions, and basic trigonometry.

Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning

This section measures logical thinking and analytical ability. Important topics include blood relations, seating arrangements, arguments, and statement–conclusion questions. Candidates should also practice data-based questions such as bar graphs, line graphs, tables, charts, and data arrangements.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs

The General Knowledge section tests awareness of current and static topics. Candidates should regularly read newspapers and follow recent events. Important areas include business, sports, culture, economics, government policies, national and international events, important organizations, logos, and recent appointments.
