• Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. There is no upper age limit for the NMAT Exam.

• NRIs and foreign nationals with a valid GMAT score are eligible to apply. Except for quotas designated for military services personnel and Kashmiri migrants, there is no reservation policy for NMAT applicants 2025

• During the admission process, students are required to furnish semester-wise mark sheets for all academic years completed at their respective colleges.

• To meet the documentation requirements, it is essential to obtain the Principal's attestation on printed copies of mark sheets, complete with the official seal.

• Candidates should have either already passed their graduation exams or have them scheduled at a university. Furthermore, they must provide written confirmation of the corresponding GPA/CGPA percentage from the university in question.

NMAT Exam Registration 2025

The registration process for NMAT is completely online. Students need to create an account on the NMAT by GMAC website and fill in their details. Each year, more than 80,000 individuals apply for this examination. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to register for the NMAT Exam 2025:

Step 1: Begin by visiting the official NMAT 2025 Registration page

Step 2: If you are a first-time applicant, navigate your cursor over the 'Register Now' link displayed on the webpage.

Step 3: In the third step, the registration window will appear. Here, provide essential details such as your name, phone number, and email address, and then click the 'Register' button.

Step 4: Upon completing the registration process, students will receive their registered ID/user ID and password via email and phone.

Step 5: Utilizing the provided user ID and password, log in to your newly created candidate account. Proceed to fill out the NMAT application form, including academic information, personal details, and work experience, among other particulars.

Step 6: In the 'School Choice' section, select up to five preferred B-schools in the order of your preference, to which NMAT by GMAC results will be sent during the selection process.

Step 7: Subsequently, upload a scanned passport-sized photograph not exceeding 1 MB in JPG/JPEG or PNG format.

Step 8: Decide whether you wish to take the exam at a test center or opt for the online remote proctored mode.

NMAT results are declared immediately after the submission of the exam by candidates. GMAC displays the score on the system. The official scorecard is made available within 48 hours of the exam. The result can be downloaded from the student’s NMAT account.

NMAT Counselling 2025 and Admission

• Selected candidates will receive invitations for group discussions and personal interviews, which will be held in Mumbai and Bangalore. 

• Candidates are required to bring their NMAT admit card, and a call letter will be provided, downloadable from the official website. 

• It is recommended that applicants carry this call letter for the GD and PI sessions. Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic achievements, work experience, NMAT scores, and their performance in the GD and PI sessions. 

Seat allocation will be determined according to the final merit list, considering candidates' preferences for their chosen institutes.
