The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test popularly known as the INI CET exam is conducted twice a year in January and July. INI CET January 2025 is completed and INI CET January 2025 will be conducted on Nov 10th for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Masters of Chirurgie (MCh) seats. INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 January Session
INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for the January session exam is available. Candidates should go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Exam authorities will verify the documents of applicants, therefore only those who are eligible can complete the INI CET Registration 2025 process. Here are the basic eligibility criteria for the INI CET 2025 January exam: Education Qualification: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the NMC/MCI. Internship: Applicant must have the certificate of completing the 12-month rotatory internship. Minimum Score: General/OBC/EWS category candidates must have secured 55% aggregate in MBBS degree. This criterion is 50% marks for candidates from the SC/ST category. Nationality: Apart from Indian students, PIO/OCIs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible subject to government guidelines. Indian nationals can apply for the INI CET January exam if they possess an MBBS degree from a University recognized by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India. Here are some other conditions that need to be fulfilled by Indian Nationals according to INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 set by authorities.- Candidates must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship on or before 31st January 2025 for all INIs.
- Applicants whose internship certificate date is after the cut-off date are not eligible for registration INI CET January 2025 exam.

Candidate must have completed the undergraduate MBBS degree with a minimum score (aggregate of all professional MBBS exams) as mentioned below:
- SC/ST Categories candidates need to have 50% marks in aggregate.
- For all other categories including the EWS/OBC Category aggregate score of 55% marks is required.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates will need to have a score as applicable to the category mentioned above to which the candidate belongs.
- Sponsored candidates will be required to upload a valid Sponsorship Certificate on or before the closing dates of the INI CET application form.
INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 For Indian National Graduated from Foreign Universities
For students who are Indian Nationals but have completed their mandated medical qualification from a foreign university/institution the INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 is as as follows:- Such candidates must clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) exam conducted by NBEMS.
- FMGE Pass Certificate will be required from Indian nationals who graduated from Foreign Universities.
- In case a candidate does not have the FMGE Pass Certificate, he or she must take the FMGE exam and clear cut off to be eligible for the certificate. This is mandatory to take the INI CET 2025 exam.
INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 For Foreign Nationals
Foreign Nationals are also eligible to take the INI CET January 2025 exam however they must fulfill additional requirements. Apart from an MBBS degree and 12 months of compulsory rotating Internship, such candidates are required to obtain a certificate of grading system from the applicable University as proof of fulfilling the 55% aggregate or equivalent mark criteria. Foreign Nationals must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India on or before dates as mentioned by authorities in the INI CET Notification. Candidates must note that the No Objection Certificate (NOC) obtained solely from the Ministry of External Affairs is NOT considered a valid NOC for the INI CET exam.Who is Ineligible As per INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025?
Only eligible candidates will be able to apply for the upcoming INI CET January 2025 exam on Nov 10th. There are certain conditions under which a candidate becomes ineligible to appear in the exam. Here are situations that may lead a candidate to become ineligible as per INI CET Eligibility Criteria 2025:- The mandatory 12-month Internship is not completed on or before January 31, 2025.
- Candidates under the sponsored category fail to submit the Original sponsored certificate before the due dates at the time of admission.
- The applicant has submitted a false or misleading document at the time of INI CET 2025 registration.
- Foreign Nationals not submitting NOC in the required format or due date.

The INI CET Application Form 2025 has been released online on august 10th 2024 at aiimsexams.ac.in for the January 2025 session. To fill out the INI CET application form for the January academic session candidates need to complete r egistration in two stages namely basic registration and final registration. After completing the basic registration Examination Unique Code (EUC) will be generated for final registration.
